This is a collection of nine flute improvisations (some acoustic, some with live looping and effects) originally broadcast live via Wild Lakes Radio between the 6th - 15th January 2020. Each piece is inspired by a chapter in the book 'Gli Uccelli In Alchimia' (Birds in Alchemy) by Luigi De Amicis (Aldenia Edizioni, Italy - www.aldenia.it/de-amicis-gli-uccelli-in-alchimia/).

The book explores the imagery and symbolism of different birds in alchemy, dream myth and the imagination with reference to the research of C.J. Jung and J. Hillman.
